It is free to list your items for sale or swap on World Best Market, the free, friendly, secure online marketplace serving buyers, sellers and/or traders (swappers) worldwide for buying, listing, selling and/or swapping electronics, cars, real estate, business and industrial products, B2B wholesales, consumer goods, apparel, jewelry, antiques, collectibles and almost anything else at best-deal prices.
FOR SALES/SWAPS IN THE CATEGORIES: please click the "SELL" link found on the header navigational bar on the World Best Market website homepage and other webpages, log into your user account, select a correct, related and fitting category and subcategory to set up and proceed effective and salable listing, selling or swapping, and open your effective and salable store for more sales or swaps (You can select the option of "Both" to list your item for sale or swap both in a category/subcategory auction/sale/swap and in your store simultaneously when you start listing. For listing in both places simultaneously, you need to set up your ready store at first. Please see the introduction below), and start your listing for sale or swap. The listing process is split up into several main sections, notably:
- Category Selection
- Listing Type
- Item Details
- Auction/Sale Settings
- Shipping
- Payment
- Listing Preview
- Listing Confirmation
The listing process is developed in such a way that you are guided through every step seamlessly.
1. Select a correct, related and fitting category and subcategory to list your item in. This can be revised at any time by using the Previous Step navigation button.
2. Listing Type:
- Full Listing - All listing options are shown.
- Quick Listing - Only basic listing options are shown.
- Buy Out Item - Create a Buy Out Only item listing.
3. Enter your item title and description. A full WYSIWYG editor is in place to enable you to use HTML descriptions.
If you have a voucher code to redeem, this can be entered just below the description field.
4. Move on to the biggest stage of the listing process. On this step, you can set the following:
· Auction/Sale Type:
- Standard: Bidding Sale/Buy Out Sale, with or without Swap Option. This is a single quantity (one item) sale or swap.
- Dutch: Multiple Identical Items' Bidding Sale/Buy Out Sale, with or without Swap Option. B2B wholesalers and sellers/traders (swappers) of the bulk quantities of identical items MUST select the Dutch Type when listing multiple identical items for sale or swap. You need to specify the number of the identical items that you'd like to sell or swap, and you can set the Unit Price as the Start Bid Price or the Buy Out Price for each of the identical items. Dutch Type enables you to list a multiple quantity sale or swap. For example, if you have 1000 identical iPhones to sell or swap, you can list all of these together in a single lot. Bidders/buyers/traders (swappers) will be able to select how many they wish to bid for or to buy out or to swap. To use the Dutch Type, you must select Full Listing as the Listing Type at first. Business & Industrial under CATEGORIES is mainly for Business-To-Business (B2B) sales, wholesales and trade.
- First Bidder: The first bidder's bid is automatically the winning bid.
· Currency:
You can select your preferred auction/sale currency, using the drop down menu available.
· Quantity:
This field is only active if listing a Dutch Type item. Please see the above for an explanation of this listing type.
· Auction/Sale Starts At:
This requires you to enter the minimum bid you are willing to accept. You can also set a Reserve Price to ensure you do not sell and/or swap the item for this amount. Please see below for more information on this.
· Reserve Price:
Enabling a Reserve Price effectively means you will not sell and/or swap the item for less than the amount set. For example, you can set the start price at 5.00 but only accept winning bids over 50.00. Should a bid be placed for 49.99, the item will close without a winner.
· Buy Out:
Buy Out (Buy Now) allows you to set an amount you are willing to sell and/or swap the item for straight out. For example, you can set the start price to 10.00 but offer interested parties the option to buy and/or swap the item immediately for 100.00.
You can also list items for Buy Out Only sales. Buy Out Only sales remove all bidding options, meaning a Buy Out Only item listing can only be purchased and/or swapped for a set amount. To set a Buy Out Only sale, you need to set the Buy Out value to be exactly equal to the start bid.
· Buy Out - Force Payment Option:
This option can be used if enabled when Buy Out is used on an auction/sale which has direct payment methods enabled. The buyer has a set amount of time to make payment using one of the direct payment gateways offered by the seller in order for the sale to be completed.
If the payment isn't made, the sale will be canceled. The sale is also considered as completed if the seller marks it as "paid" from the "Sold Items" page.
Important: Sellers who opt to use this option will need to enable this option from the "Preffiled Fields/Global Settings" page in the "Selling" section.
· Offer Range - Make Offer:
If you enter a minimum and maximum offer range, interested parties will be able to Make Offers for your item. You can set a price bracket in which you are willing to list an offer. For example, if you set the price bracket from 15.00 to 100.00, interested parties will be able to offer you an amount within the bracket. You can opt whether to accept or decline the offer at any time via your user account.
· Bid Increment/Bid Decrement:
For the Standard Type listings and the Dutch Type listings, Bid Increment option can be used to Set Your Own Custom Bid Increment, if preferred. For the First Bidder Type listings, Bid Decrement option can be used to Set Your Own Custom Bid Decrement, if preferred, and Decrement Interval option can be used to Enter the Time Interval in which the price will decrease by the decrement amount set.
· Item Featuring:
The following options are available to you. These will highlight your items on World Best Market to ensure they reach more visitors:
· Set Start/End Time:
You can either opt to list your item right away and set a defined number of days for it to be live for or you also have the option to define your own Custom Start/End Time.
· Private Auction/Sale:
Private Auction/Sale will hide the bidders' identities on the item detail page.
· Image Upload:
To accompany your item, you can either upload images from your local computer or enter the URLs of images hosted elsewhere.
· Media Upload:
In addition to images, you will upload media files. Please note only .avi/.mpeg/.mov are supported at present. Sellers can add embedded video code when uploading media, such as popular embedded YouTube videos that World Best Market recommends.
· Bulk Lister:
For convenience, you can opt to use the Bulk Lister to list your items. Bulk Lister will ease your work of listing items in bulk.
· Auto Re-List:
For convenience, you can opt to have your item Automatically Re-Listed for you. Options are available to allow you to select whether the item should be Re-Listed, whether the item should be Re-Listed even if sold, and how many Re-List attempts should be made.
· List Your Item(s) Both In a Category/Subcategory Auction/Sale/Swap And In Your Store Simultaneously:
For convenience, you can select the option of "Both" to list your item(s) for sale or swap both in a category/subcategory auction/sale/swap and in your store at the same time when you start to list your item(s) in your user account. Please note that in your user account you must set up your store at first and then select the option of "Both" (This means listing both in a category/subcategory and in your store at the same time) when you list your item(s) for sale or swap. After setting up and proceeding both listings, your listed item(s) will appear in both places. Some listing options such as Auto Re-List will apply to your listed item(s) in both places simultaneously.
5. Shipping:
You can set Your Shipping Preferences including Your Shipping Rates and available Delivery Methods.
6. Payment:
You can set Your Payment Preferences including Direct (Online) Payment Settings and Offline Payment Options.
Establishing the Direct Payment Settings helps a user automate the quick proceeding of paying or receiving purchase payments online.
Important: Before you start listing and selling, in your user account, go to Manage Account under My Account and select some of the Direct Payment Gateways if you need to use for your listing and selling.
7. Proceeding on, you can then review your listing and make changes if required. Please note that you can still edit your listing once live via your user account.
8. The Final Step provides you with listing confirmation.

- Buyers can purchase sellers'
listed items instantly using some of the Direct (Online) Payment Methods used by sellers and
listed inside the users' accounts.
- Buyers or swappers can enter
offers on sellers'/swappers' listed items. This means buyers or swappers can enter Purchase
Offers to sellers/swappers. Responding to the sellers'/swappers' Classified Ads, "Enter an
offer" means to make a Purchase Offer. Sellers or swappers can select whether or not
to accept such purchase offers and also set the price ranges to deal
with buyers'/swappers' purchase offers.
- Buyers or swappers can list wanted items that they want to buy or swap. Interested sellers or swappers can check whether or not the wanted items
match their listed items on World Best Market and if matched, the
sellers or swappers can make responses with their listings to the wanted items, or the
sellers or swappers can enter new selling/swapping offers to the wanted items. Responding to
the wanted items, "Enter an offer" means to make a Selling/Swapping Offer.

Each time a new auction/sale is listed containing those keywords, you will be notified via email.
The item watch feature lets you keep a close eye on any auction/sale without having to place a bid on it. This feature means you can be kept up to date on how an auction/sale is doing and prepares you to place a winning last minute bid. You can watch any auction/sale by clicking on the Watch this item link on any auction/sale page.
If the option is available, you can use Buy Out (Buy Now) to purchase and/or swap the item immediately without having to place a bid. Some sellers/traders offer such an option which can be used at any time until a bid has been placed over any applicable reserve price.

Placing a bid on an item you are interested in couldn't be easier. When viewing the item detail page, you will have two areas from where you can place your bid, one next to the item details and a second at the bottom of the page.
To place your bid, simply enter the amount you wish to bid, e.g. 50.00. Please note no currency symbols are required. The bid will be placed in the auction/sale currency.
Once done, you will be asked to review your bid and you will also be able to view vital item details such as the shipping conditions before confirming your bid. To submit your bid, simply press the Place Bid button.
If your bid is high enough to take the lead in the auction, a confirmation message will be displayed to you. However, if your bid has not taken the lead be it due to a higher proxy bid or not meeting the reserve price, you will be invited to make a further bid.
Should you decide to retract your bid, this can be done via the Current Bids section of your user account.
You can also place a Proxy Bid. Proxy Bidding allows you to place your High Bid. At all times you will only pay the lowest required bid, should you win the auction. For example, if the current bid on an auction is 500.00, you can place a proxy bid of 2,000. Should you remain the only bidder, you will only pay 500.00. However, should the item receive other bids, the site will automatically re-bid for you (up to 2,000 in this scenario) to ensure you remain in the lead.
